Well, I for one was pleased to see someone put their thing down using just their ear and the equipment on hand! I getting tired of these "technically" proficient dj's that appear on youtube. Your set sounds just like my sets did when I first came out (1979). We had numark mixers and technic ttables! If you weren't 100% smooth fine-it least it was you!
I say to you learn the aspects of music flow, how to work the crowd, etc. Anyone can buy equipment and think they're great-I want to hear how...

contd'...you program your music-if you can work on the fly, bring the crowd to where you want to be! You'll get better just through playing (you've demonstrated talent).Some of the best i've heard, danced in front of, or knew personally had mix-ups once in awhile. Larry Levan wouldn't even attempt blending at times,he would "slam" a record on in the heat of the moment-drove the crowd crazy! But all-in-all, keep your focus on the music, the equipment is NO substitute for talent and a ear 4 music.

keep practicing. think about what your scratching and get in rhythm with the beat. Start out slow. Practive makes perfect. Just my 2 cents. ONE

nice song selection dude. Your gunna wanna watch the gain levels when bringing a song into the mix...ie use headphones to get the levels right and use the led meter aswell. It's good to bring new song in a bit quieter than the song playing and as your bringing new song volume up your bringing old song down. I like how your using O.G vinyl too!!!keep practising and your ears will be like radars!!!

Oh and watch you don't get too carried away with the scratching,nice CLEAN cuts sound alot better. And def you def don't wanna scratch over Prince like that!!! could get you killed some day.lol

Im gonna get this mixer and I have Maudio torq Connectiv...so would i need a 3.5mm audio rca cable pluging in to the connectiv soundcard and then have the other end of the wire be 3.5mm or 1/4trs to fit in to the mixer's audio inputs/outputs?

Serato is far from cheating..its called progressing..you wouldnt say to a dj..your cheating for moving onto directs..its just progression in technology..if you cant live with how djing is naw then dont watch it....but still well done to this guy for doing this without software..but still..serato and all the other lot is far from cheating
