Did you know that the Bible was written on 3 different continents, over 1500 years, between 40 different authors... from tax collectors, fishermen to kings? the message is always the same and never contradicts it's self. If you think so, show me. the Koran was written by one dude, which is a remarkable book that some one just can't write, seeing how Mohammad was basically, if put in today's terms, a truck driver. that isn't as credible to me, not saying the book is void of a good message.

Great job, you imbecile. The Bible is the actual foundation of Western society and culture. Throughout history, the nations that followed the Bible's teaching have been the happiest and most morally correct. As soon as a nation starts to drift away from Christianity, trouble follows immediately. If that's not proof enough of the effectiveness, if not truth, of the Bible, then what is?

I'm a christian, so I like to believe I'm right. Doesn't matter though, we are still prone to the same faults as any other. I would argue with the idea that christian nations have been the happiest over the years, but we can both agree that scientology is nothing more than the exploitation of the law, it's own "congregation", and mind games.

I'm sorry but America is a country that was founded by God fearing people. And now it's one of the most religious countries in the world. It's also one of the most violent and corrupt in the world. All I'm saying is that the bible doesn't make people better, people make themselves better. If you need a book to tell that murdering a person is wrong, then you're hardly ever going to be a decent person. Pretty much every war in history was caused by religion.
