Well, this again proves how little you know. Many people are temporarily convinced to surrender their rights out of fear, fear of terrorists passed the patriot act which surrendered our right of privacy, fear of people hurting us with guns will lead to a surrender of our EXPLICIT RIGHT AS A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES to own and bear arms. so can you see how it could "actually happen anyway"?

I've seen nothing to suggest that Ron Paul doesn't know what the Second Amendment means. He knows what it's about, unlike the POTUS-to-be who claims to believe in the right, yet supports a permanent nationwide ban on "assault weapons" and right-to-carry.

Yes, I would feel a lot safer if everybody on every plane had a gun; preferably a semi-automatic so that they could take out a whole row of terrorists in one go. Why, anyone who looked like a terrorist could be shot right in the airport, saving a lot of time during check-in. Personally, I would prefer to take my chances with the odd terrorist than with a plane full of citizens.
