darrellmellissa, you know what? White people always resort to "Welfare" when trying to belittle Black people. Check this, the number one welfare recipient is a single white female and in fact there are more whites on welfare then there are blacks. darrellmellisaa, what's higher is the percentage of the black community. Let's say 34%(example) of blacks and 18% (example) are on welfare. If you look at the number of whites and blacks what do you suppose the higher number would be? The actual # not %... check it out. If I'm wrong then I'm wrong, but aren't blacks like...13% of the population? Peace!

i know i am american, but the culture that I am aclamated to is one that is quite different from the average caucasian americans. America does not have one set defined culture, which is what makes it so beautiful, it is a melting pot of many different cultural backgrounds which is why I am African American... our african culture is still present in many things that black people do today, the same thing with asian americans, irish americans and so on, dont take our culture away from us...
