soaking skewers in water really doesn't matter. they will burn anyway. it's best to use foil on the rack to keep the fire off of the skewer.. petty i know. but just a tip..

we also have the same style of cooking chicken and pork here in Japan but it is much simpler(using salt or sweetened soy sauce) your style looks more yummy! definitely i'll try your recipe. Love your channel and now i'm a big fan....love from Tokyo

great recipe, only difference i made was to add ajinomoto to marinade. that is msg. bad for you, not sure, but it is used in many asian dishes, including thai dishes. considered as 5th flavor - sweet, salty, sour, spicy + msg. is the dish missing something? may be msg. you decied.

Why does everyone think that peanut sauce is Thai? go to Thailand and no one will even know what peanut sauce is! There are Thai peanut based dipping sauces, but they are NOT made with mud like peanut butter. Try roasting some peanuts and chopping them up. A little more effort, but the easy way out isn't always the best.

For your health consideration avoid using foil, heating foil will transfer certain amount of lead into your food. You don't want that lead into your food , don't you? Use bamboo skewers or surgical stainless steel skewer instead.

It's weird that she used sweetened condensed milk. In Thailand, we use coconut milk with cane sugar instead. Pork stay is really popular than beef one and it can be a main dish. It usually comes with sliced cucumber salad with vinegar.

you must not good in cooking at all. I'm not Thai, but, I cook thai food,American food, Italian food, and Chinese food.
Basically, most of Asian food not put MSG at all, I love to cook Asian food, it always turn out so tasty without MSG. and this Thai cooking class, so far is the best, try it out before you talk pleas.
