This video is very involved but it will show you how to "Stop a process" "unregister a dll file" "Edit the registry and remove the strings created by the virus" and empty out your temp files. PLEASE! be very careful to follow the directions in this video and on the printout.

if you don't know what it is you can always type it into google and it will tell you if it s good or a virus. and yes a virus could have turned off your update feature as well as other things. try my video on "combofix"

i would like to say thank you very much for your help.. the combufix actually worked and my windows update works perfectly.. i have been fighting with this thing for days.. thank you very much ur videos are very useful i learn alot from them. i will definetly keep coming back to watch ur videos. thanks again..

No it won't, hidden rootkit files that propagate automatically can't be removed with SpybotSD or most other scanners.

yeah that is a nasty one to get rid of, most times you will end up wiping out your system and starting over, but you could try my latest video dealing with combofix and malwarebytes.

excuse me i need help! i cant uninstall windows defender and i think its the cause for me having a virus and mcafee is telling me svchost.exe is potentially unwanted program do i remove it?

get rid of mcaffee, install avast or avira, they are free and work fantastic. if you are running vista you cannot uninstall windows defender, but you can disable it. you will find the disable check boxs under the options menu in the defender program.

I got avg 8.0 and got my virus via msn my friend opened it.. avg finds nothing exept some cookies and windows defender find when i start up windows then he says i must restart i do. And when my computer starts up he says the same. But anyway icant remove the virus he blocks me to deleteit. And my internet even pops up much screens while youtube.. help me please

ZLOB variants today, also known as Alureon installs itself as a root kit. SpyBot does not remove rootkits, AVG rootkit remover will though. And what's with the, "so there"? are you 7?

I know some people say mcafee is bloatware but I have been using its security suite for 3yrs (not cheap i know) and have never had a virus trojun etc ,plus any other issues I may encounter |I have fixed easily ,also I thought the stuff you showed in this vid is standard that most pc users know? of course even knowing that is no good if you dont know the files to deleat,btw day2day i use spybotSD mcafee
