| I'm 5' 10", and I'd say the length of the whip can make tricks harder or easier. All of these tricks are harder with longer whips. A lot of people starting out seem to want a long whip, but a long whip is not very versatile. |

| i wouldn't buy a cheap one if i were you. nylon can be under $100 but a good leather whip is going to be about 300 and up. try looking on ebay for good deals, but if you google it you can find some good whip-makers. |
